Which ECX pillar represents your educational or career path, what do you hope to create or accomplish within that field, and how will your education help you contribute to the future of technology, creativity, or innovation?

Applicants are encouraged to discuss projects they have completed, ideas they would like to develop, problems they want to solve, businesses they hope to create, or ways they intend to use technology to benefit others.

Applicants may also have the opportunity to submit examples of their work.

Examples may include:

  • Music or audio productions
  • Videos or films

SELECTION CRITERIA

Future Innovators Scholarship recipients may be selected based upon:

  • Academic or educational commitment
  • Financial need
  • Career goals
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Technical or artistic potential
  • Leadership
  • Community involvement
  • Personal achievement
  • Perseverance
  • Quality of the applicant’s Future Innovator Statement
  • Alignment with one or more of the six ECX pillars

ECX recognizes that talent and potential cannot always be measured by grades alone. Academic performance may therefore be considered alongside creativity, determination, technical ability, personal circumstances, accomplishments, and demonstrated potential.

BUILDING THE FUTURE

The next breakthrough in music may come from a student experimenting with sound.

The next major application may begin with someone’s first line of code.

The next robot, immersive experience, film technology, artificial intelligence system, or digital platform may begin as an idea in the mind of a student who simply needs an opportunity.

The ECX Future Innovators Scholarship exists to help turn that potential into possibility.

CREATE. BUILD. INNOVATE.
